Another extra special wedding post, but today is a personal favorite - it’s our wedding anniversary!
Before owning Smith’s, this small business held a special place in my heart. It’s one of the places Will and I registered before getting married twelve years ago today.
On my first visit to Dublin, I saw Royal Crown Derby in the window of Smith’s on our way to dinner at Deano’s. We came into the shop and Mrs. Jackie immediately started peppering us with her questions, thinking we were engaged and we weren’t...yet! When the time came, we of course, registered in Dublin and I found several of my favorite registry items at this store including Waterford’s Roly Poly glasses that Will uses often, our beloved Spode Christmas Rose pattern (unfortunately, now retired) and my all time favorite salad plate from Royal Crown Derby.
My stack selected all those years ago?
Gwendolyn Dinner
Midori Meadow Accent Plate
Lismore
For everyday, I selected popular Berry and Thread pattern - one I still use every day!
What have we added over the years? Well, there are too many to count! My most used additions include Annieglass Ruffle Chargers that adds an extra touch of gold to our fine china.
All things melamine from both Juliska and Vietri - a must have with two little ones!
Registering at Smith’s was such a special experience for us and we’d be honored to be part of your wedding. From choosing wedding bands and china patterns, to selecting attendant gifts…we take pride in supporting and celebrating our brides through the entire process. Give us a call or email [email protected] to get started!
