If you love gemstone jewelry with a soul and a story, the Iris Iolite Necklace was made for you.

Iolite, in its signature deep violet-blue, is famously known as the “Viking’s Compass.” Legend has it that ancient explorers used thin slices of iolite to find the sun on cloudy days to navigate the North Atlantic.

It’s like carrying a little piece of history and a sense of direction wherever you go!

We love the “quiet strength” this stone represents. Like a little daily reminder to stay on course, no matter the weather.

What was originally looked down upon because it was “different” is now the reason why Gold Hills turquoise is so loved.

The periwinkle or lavender blue hue is caused by a distinct combination of geological factors at the
Alton-Tyube mine in Kazakhstan.

Specifically, a notably, low iron content, and a high concentration of aluminum in this turquoise.

Jewelry designers, collectors, and turquoise enthusiasts did not accept Golden Hills turquoise when it was first discovered. It did not follow the traditional color scheme of turquoise.

Since 2018, when Golden Hills was first introduced to the US market, it has slowly gained notoriety.

I am absolutely head over heels for Golden Hills Turquoise.
