Meet Our 2026 Leadership!

Shiney Bookie started at CRF as street cast in 1996 as the Spanish Ambassador. She worked various places in the faire before landing at Khatovar in 1999 as a full-time sales rep and building apprentice. She assisted the owner with management responsibilities before taking on her current role as Business Operations Manager in the mid-2010s.

She designed the Ferisha Necklace and Allura Headpiece. Shiney Bookie also inspired the Andromeda Necklace, as she kept wearing Handflowers as necklaces!

Meet Our 2026 Leadership!

Shiney Noir has been attending CRF for her entire life, then started working for the faire itself in 2015. After a short hiatus, she rejoined at Khatovar as a sales rep. She started building on the side, turned full-time builder, then meshed the two when she became Khatovar's Sales Manager.

She designed the Iracebeth Necklace, and is known for riffing on current designs. Shiney Noir's favorite builds are Odette Necklaces and Bubble Necklaces.

Meet Our 2026 Leadership!

First Fearless Shiney, now Shiney Master! She started at Khatovar on a sales counter in 2008, the partnered with Shiney Sensei in 2009 to buy the business.

Many designs including the Ribbon Necklace, Elyse Headpiece, Nova Bracelet, Queen Mother Necklace, Dice Bags, Knottingham Necklace and more all came from the hands of Shiney Master. Her go-to favorite things to make, though, are earrings!

Shiney Sensei started at CRF in 2000 in a few different booths before becoming Khatovar's top building apprentice. She partnered with Shiney Master to buy the business in 2009.

She designed the Acia Veil for Shiney Master's wedding, and she loves to build anything with a Twist weave!

Meet Our 2026 Builders!

Shiney Bender started at Khatovar in the early 2000s. She's known for her fabulous charm finds, often used on her designs like the Geek necklace, Charmed bracelets/ necklaces, and Beacon pattern. Her favorite builds are the Grape necklace, Ribbon necklace, and Baby Cat of Nine.

Agent Shiney has been a part of the booth literally since birth. She started building in 2023 then took the position of Operations Assistant in 2024-25. Her favorite builds are Handflowers, Headpieces, and special customs for special people.

Bionic Shiney started building for Khatovar in 2019. She's the go-to for anything micromaille, especially byzantine weave. She designed the Avan necklace, and her favorite builds are the Inara necklace and Faerie Queen Headpiece.

Shiney Weaver started in 2018 and is in her 9th season with Khatovar. She's known for her quick on-the-spot work on custom pieces, but her favorite builds are the Andromeda necklace and anything with sunflowers.
