What does this look like? It looks like 5 minutes of work in a slicer, and wham bam thank you man, it's a fancy 3d printed business card.
But, my dear... No. That's not what this is. This is hours and hours and days and days of designing, and testing, and slicing, and crying, and filament, and work.
Not even counting the days and days of work I did to originally design this idea last year.... I have spent no less than three days trying to replicate it, after Divorce (my A1) decided to eat its SD card, which had my final design on it......... and I was apparently an idiot and never saved the fully built and tested model on my PC.
..Like an idiot. 'Cause I am idiot soup. An idiot sandwich. Too confident in my own hubris to do something so simple like.. SAVE MY DESIGN TO MY PC. ππππ
So. I have spent three days worth of time trying to replicate the design in a way that it would still be functional and print the way I need it to, while keeping the (more or less) original look. A whole lot of yelling at my slicer. Even more cursing my printer. None of which were the problem, because *I'M* the idiot who didn't save her original work. π I also need to print like 80 of these before Friday. I don't think there are enough hours in the day. hahaha
Sooo.. yeah. That's probably why I don't offer custom business cards as one of my services. In case you ever wondered. πππ
(Also.. just one of these cards takes 30 minutes to print... that's .50 cents, cost, per business card. To pay myself even a fraction of what my time etc are worth, I would have to charge $1 per card. Ain't NOBODY going to pay me those prices to order a set. hahahaha)
