Today we had our first batik workshop for 2026.

In this week’s batik class, we started by practicing some simple wax-drawing patterns, gradually becoming familiar with the basic techniques of batik and how to create lines and designs with wax. In next Sunday’s class, we will continue exploring different batik techniques, using a variety of dyeing methods to create different background effects. We will also experiment with different artistic styles to make the final pieces richer and more layered.

Had such a fun and inspiring batik class today!✨ We explored creative ways to bring more texture and depth into the background. See pictures!
