Hello! My name is Tammy Panshyn, owner, designer and seamstress at TamElla Designs.
I am a wife and proud mom of two boys and a very loved dog.
I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from The Illinois Institute of Art in 2013, but my love for designing began long before that—at just four years old. What started as a childhood passion has grown into a lifelong career devoted to craftsmanship, creativity, and attention to detail.
Since 2011, I’ve specialized in alterations and custom sewing, with professional training from David's Bridal, Elegance Wedding and Evening Wear, and Designs Du Jour. My background also includes commercial sewing, product development, and pattern making, giving me both the technical skill and creative insight to handle projects of all kinds.
I specialize in bridal gowns and evening wear, with a particular love for intricate hand beading and delicate lace work. In addition, I offer bridal gown reconstruction, men’s and women’s tailoring, dancewear, leather and custom memory items.
I believe the smallest details make the biggest difference. My goal is for every client to leave not just satisfied, but truly excited about the work we’ve created together, bringing beautiful ideas to life❤️
