New arrangement at Westside Market Toco Hill featuring paintings by Luis along with my own work. He did the large bejeweled tiger face, the palm tree with coconuts and the oversized flower with a hummingbird.

I am adding new products weekly. Please look for my work throughout the store. There are paintings of mine in other booths and jewelry near the cash register.

Thank you for supporting small businesses, local artisans and handmade work.

During quarantine I taught myself a variety of design apps on my phone. I'm obsessed with it. I could (and often did) do it all day. I did a few Pet Portrait commissions, but I wish i could do more with it. I envision fabric, wallpaper, apparel, home accessories, etc. Unfortunately, my computer died during all of this, but it sounds like I need to learn Illustrator or one of the other graphic design programs so I can create images in the right size. I know a lot of you have seen them on Stories, but for now I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favorites. If you see anything you like, I can have them printed 8x8 in a white frame for $45. I am also very happy to do custom designs! ~lindsay
ps just fyi: Almost all of the flowers are from photographs I have taken, as well as the patterns, which I derive from photoshoots of random objects I group together or sections of paintings I have done

I popped in my booth at Westside Market to drop off this vibrant pair of throw pillows, fill in my earring display ($14-$46 a pair!) and tidy up a bit! I also decided while I was there that I would reduce the cost of this "handsome" sofa, as my mom would say (personally I think it's gender neutral). Originally $799, it is now $599!!!🎉 It is the most comfortable sofa and with good pillows, it's perfect to nap on. So cozy!

Stop by Westside Market at Toco Hills, visit Booth 405 (Snapdragon Studio🐲) and you could furnish a whole room in a day for under $1000. Just sayin'!😉 ... and might as well treat yourself to a unique pair of earrings for a job well done.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend and cheers on creating a happy, creative and comfortable home!!!😁🏡🎨🌷🥂

Trying to think of a creative Mother's Day gift or simply a treat for yourself or friend? Support a local Artist and let me make you a commissioned photo-collage of your pet, children or whatever you desire. I have come up with all of the patterned backgrounds and most of the images in general to create a whimsical work of art and keepsake. Designs can be as simple or as funky as you desire!

Frame 8x8 with 5x5 matted image: $45
*comes in a box and I will even wrap and deliver in the Atlanta area (What a DEAL!!!)

Hurry! Mother's Day is soon ... and I'm running out of food!😉

Please text me with pictures if interested and let me know if there are any favorite motifs you'd like me to add, ie: a butterfly, etc. Clear images with light or white backgrounds work best but I can make it happen with your favorite photo!

I am LOVING doing these, would be thrilled to design one for you ... and, oh by the way, DESPERATELY need to make some money!

Happy Quarantining!

For those of you who are not on Instagram (and you should be b/c it's fun and I need 238 new followers by my birthday this coming Sunday!!! .studio) .... I talk about painting a lot, way more than I actually do it. I sort of have the personality that if it's not gonna be perfect, I'm not gonna do it at all. The thing is, it doesn't have to be perfect. At all. To me, it would be boring if it was. Once you get started and even make just a few brush strokes that you're happy with, the reasons why you love it: the process, the remembering of techniques, the realization that mistakes aren't mistakes - come back to you and you lose yourself in the process. A final product, a finished project, etc., etc. is very satisfying as we know, but what we've also learned is that the process is the most important part.

My last trip trip the grocery store I picked up this pineapple mainly because it's more fresh and economical to buy it whole. When I went to cut it up, I couln't allow myself to do so without snapping a picture of first. I grabbed one of my fabric fabrics (I have quite the collection!) and did one quick shot on my porch. I already had the perfect-sized canvas painted yellow, so I set up a workspace in my bedroom away from all of my other projects.

I know this is not a big deal. It's just a painting, but a blank canvas can be extremely intimidating, especially when you can imagine what it will look like, but fear that you won't know how to get there. I'm happy with it so far but I am feeling the same fear about working on the background as I did when I started the pineapple. Technically you're supposed to do both simultaneously, but whatever ... Art is also about breaking the rules!

Whatever project you're working on, and I sincerely hope you have one - or many, during this time, I hope you will take the time to enjoy the process!

Thanks,
Lindsay

ps I threw in some patterns I came up with just because I think they compliment the painting well :)

If you're headed out this weekend in search for something new and exciting to spruce up your home, be sure to stop by Westside Market at Toco Hills. Highlighting a few items tonight. It's hard not to want to keep these items for myself, but it's a business after all, right?!!

In-love with with this runner! Would be awesome in a minimalist house with white walls or add the perfectly tie together an already colorful home. Very affordable at $145!

Seriously wanted to keep these guys since I have a bit of an Asian-themed Home. Holding earrings now, these gold Buddha placecard holders would add fun to any dinner party. $30 for a set of 6

I personally have a mirror obsession - not looking in them necessarily, but there are so many cool designs. Gold and Hexagon, not too big and not too small. A great addition to a gallery wall. $55

I bought this vintage mirrored shelving unit with the intentions of using it as a jewelry display. If it sells before then, I will figure out an alternative. $200

Another Asian-themed item (I can't help it!) this unique clay teapot and creamer with Dragons would make an awesome addition to your existing teapot collection. $65

Oh, and by the way, it's a tough place to try to make money b/c you inevitably end up buying something for yourself. Got this very classy and soft as cashmere wrap from. Another vendor today. Pay it forward!

Some of you may already know this from my Instagram and Facebook stories, but this is my official announcement that I have recently acquired a space at Westside Market at Toco Hills. Not just a wall of jewelry, but a booth full of home furnishings, art and more! Westside Market is such an inspiring place for anyone looking to update their home or wardrobe. Definitely check it out if you get a chance!
