💚💚 I’ve been MIA for a couple months, but I have a good reason! Many of you know that I used to be a public school teacher. 👩‍🏫I quit teaching to stay home with my kids, handle their medical needs, and run my small businesses. Well, two of those kids are now in college, one of them has the world’s most expensive hobby showing livestock, and the economy is in the can. I swore I wouldn’t go back to the classroom, but I needed a steady income. I prayed for the perfect job, and God delivered the perfect opportunity, less than five minutes from my house, working in the school district that I love, with people that I love, and NOT in the classroom…HOORAY! I’m now a Groves Gator🌟🐊🌟by day, and a really tired business owner by night and on weekends. This was the first weekend since I started working that I MADE time for myself to sit in the studio. I’ve now got a few things for myself to wear, and a few for my new coworkers! 💚💚

I am absolutely in love with the way these earrings turned out. Even better than I could have imagined. The sterling silver hoop and hook make them virtually hypoallergenic, and the hammered copper give them a life of their own. Polish them before wearing to keep their shine, or let them naturally patina over time and watch them make their own story! I’m definitely making another pair for myself.
