Hill to Shore Hill to Shore is a is a small craft business that offers isopods and hand crafted jewelry. As a stay at home mom with a love of all things nature!

I draw inspiration from the hills in the southern United States that I call home and my favorite vacation spot, Gulf Shores, Alabama. (Thus the name HilltoShore.) I'm new to the jewelry making business but I'm eager to learn. I hope this store is successful enough to facilitate that education so I can continue learning and improving.

A huge thank you to everyone that visited us at our table at the Repticon!

I loved getting to meet and chat with others that were interested in isopods and mourning geckos. If anyone knows of any other shows either in the area or nearby tag me or comment and I'll look into the chances of getting a table there. Regardless I'm already signed up to be back to the Repticon Huntsville in November! Till then anyone is free to share my posts or reach out to me for local meetup sales, help in starting your own terrarium or colony, or update pics of how your pets are doing. Dried leaves have now been added and we've got some happy pods! These tank setups are not expensive, they are light, and easy to maintain. I would happily provide a full initial setup. Message to inquire for price. Isopods sold separately from setup so you can buy just a setup for your existing pets or purchase the setup to go with your isopod purchase.

You may not tell anyone you have isopods. But there will be signs! 😄

For anyone not in the know to prevent unwanted guests from sneaking into your habitats it's a good idea to flash boil your gathered leaves. A 2 minute dip is enough to kill any hitch hikers without harming the leaves. Then I hang them to fully dry to prevent molding. Bonus: it makes your house smell like fresh brewed tea and you can collect the "tea" to use in your bins so any leeched nutrients are put right back in.
