After years of trying different things I finally found my niche. After I retiring as an interior designer I still had the urge to create of design. I tried dolls, painting, Mixed Media, Jewelry as well as polymer clay and etc but nothing really felt right. I taught myself Photoshop and I am a published digital artist but the desire to get my work out there was hard because there are so many digit
al artists. One day a friend said she thought I should put my art on some Altoids tins and try to sell them at the local Christmas Bizarre about 5 years ago. At that time Steampunk was really hot so all of my tins were a hit. This is how Altered State of Tin was born. I still have a great passion for digital art and I am still learning everyday. I got away from putting my art on the tins as high quality designer paper works better for texture. I have many unique designs on my tin boxes and continue to design them.
