The sixteenth annual Artiscape: An Artist’s Gathering, returns to Ohio to the great joy of frazzled artists everywhere. An artistic event of mixed media workshops presented by a select group of professional instructors. Fifty hands-on workshops in bookbinding, jewelry, metalwork, beading, calligraphy, altered books and mixed media. One-day Art Materials Marketplace (Saturday, April 29 from 10-5) w

ith eclectic vendors, Outsider Art Fair (Sunday, April 30 from 11-5) with finished works ranging from hand-bound books to wearable art. Preview party, evening gatherings, afternoon tea, demos, prizes, silent auction and more. Open to the public. I'm teaching two Ohara Ikebana lessons in February, and the first is sold out! There's still time to join me for the second class and learn to create a Rising Form style of arrangement - an introductory arrangement in the Ohara School of Ikebana.

I supply the flowers. Please bring your container and scissors or arrange to borrow items from me.

Classes are held at the Yokoso Center (1175 Old Henderson Rd, in the Japan Marketplace (near Tensuke Market and the Akai Hana restaurant).

I'm excited to be teaching two Ohara Ikebana lessons in February! Join me and learn to create a Rising Form style of arrangement - an introductory arrangement in the Ohara School of Ikebana.
