Firstly, thanks for supporting me through the Etsy strike! It wasn’t successful, sadly, but I think a lot of sellers got the motivation to start building their own sites up (including me) or making sure they have backup plans. There also seem to be some coops starting up to take the place of Etsy in the future as they (quoting the CEO in response to the strike) “become more like Amazon. Gag.
Secondly, these are pin vices of assorted types. Some are as purchased, some are specially modified to hold threaded earring tops. They help with one of the harder steps of the jewelery process: finishing. These can hold the earrings so that I can easily manipulate them during all the stages of shaping and buffing and sanding.
Before this they’ve been soldered or welded, pickled, and tumbled.
