This customer stopped in to see me at the store after her honeymoon.

She wanted her band to sit flush with her diamond.

We could either curve it or alter it.

We decided to alter the band slightly and solder them together for a flawless finish.

A little chain repair for your Wednesday. ⛓️

Fun fact, semi-solid and hollow chains are a nightmare to repair at the bench. They are just super sensitive to heat and can melt into a little ball in a heartbeat. 🔥

While it's possible to repair them with a torch and lots of patience, my preferred method is the laser for those items.

This semi solid chain was split at a link. I was able to weld the link back together and build up the joint. & looking at it, You can't even tell it was repaired.
