Simple but… cute?
Drilling holes in shells with my tiny generic dremel’ish tool takes a hot minute and patience I don’t seem to have right now. The shells in my previous post may turn into something very different, only time will tell!
This one needs some more decor? Maybe? 💁🏻‍♀️
Which of the bottom charms would you keep? The blue bead or the star fish charm?

I’ve been throwing around the idea of adding A Blind Date With A Book to my market offerings for the season. Brin and I both make bookmarks, plus I have the handmade tea bag holders that could make a cute addition. Plus the genre or feel of the secret book gives all kinds of room to customize the package. Possibly purchasing some items from my fellow vendors to include in the packaging such as incense or candles, baked goods, lotions or bath bombs or salts for added relaxation. Coffee or tea. I really think there is a way to make it a multi-vendor package.
Would you guys be interested in those? Any suggestions? My vendor friends interested in a collaboration on these?

This is how my night went…
Pretty sure I lost twenty pounds since 4 pm yesterday…
Double scopes today, having some issues in the last few months.
I’m ready for the nice nap that’s to come in a bit and some food this afternoon!
Wish me luck!
I will forever advocate for everyone to have these types of tests, as screenings or as a necessity due to symptoms. Don’t put them off!
I’ll see you when I wake up 😘

Let’s normalize using things that are about to end their shelf life in ways that prolong them.
In a grocery order a couple of weeks ago I chose to add a red onion. I almost never buy them but for whatever reason I did that time.
This thing was on the precipice of going to the dark side. I knew we wouldn’t eat a whole red onion by the time that happened so I did what any insane afraid of throwing away food person would do…
I pickled that puppy!
AND - The jar I used to store it in is another upcycled pasta jar with a snug fitting lid! The Classico Alfredo comes in a very nice Atlas mason jar that has measurements on the side of it. The recipe called for a half cup of hot water and a half cup of vinegar so I didn’t have to dirty a measuring cup for those! It was all on the jar. Two teaspoons of sea salt and two tablespoons of honey later… stuffed those thin onion slices in there until there was no more room.
These will be very tasty on sandwiches, in ramen, on top of my fake sushi bowl. Lots of uses!
I might have to buy another fancy red (we all know it’s really purple but we don’t judge how anyone chooses to identify) onion to use in some natural dye’s that I’ve been contemplating.
The moral of the story is that in these hard times we have to get out of the mind set that we’ll just buy another. No need to waste, just have to move into a different frame of mind!
And I promise to brush my teeth after I eat them cause shew they are PO-TENT!

These are a work in progress… going to have to tweak some things but for now I don’t hate the outcome (too much anyway 😂)
They will eventually be a magnet line that will be available on my page and at any markets we are at.
They are hot glue that has been pressed with a wax seal tool to emulate an antique frame. The center is a cut from a magazine that has been cut to size and manipulated to appear aged. The total size of this one is one square inch. They have been finished with a gold paint pen.
I will also be able to make oblong and rectangle frames.
I haven’t yet worked out pricing but once I’m able to successfully make some others I’ll post them here.
Would you purchase something quirky like this?
