I showed a talent for art and drawing at a young age and was able to learn with the help of my mom and all my excellent art teachers throughout my life. I really learned that I love Graphic Design after going to the Ashtabula County Joint Vocation School for Graphic Arts for my junior and senior years of high school. Right out of high school I went to work at a local newspaper and responsible for
laying out the pages of various newspapers, special sections and ads. Soon I also started working in the sign industry, working for a few different sign companies including the business owned by my mother at the time. I currently work for an awesome company that I can utilize all of the combined skills I have learned throughout my 25 years of experience in these fields. I also do freelance graphic design for multiple small print companies in Ohio and Michigan. When I was 12 years old I had a very small jewelry making business that my mom helped me with, we went to a few local shows one summer and I completely loved it! After years of not making jewelry and needing a creative outlet to express myself I started Galaxy Craft in 2015. I specialize in eccentric one-of-a-kind pieces including jewelry, painting, wood burning, assorted crafts and much more. Inspired by the experiences and moments life, my jewelry has been described as a combination of bohemian and eclectic.
