🗞️🎙️ In this 6 min one-sided conversational video (pretend it's a mini podcast, ok?!), I will cover changes that are upcoming! And announcing what I'm envisioning for GTMW custom work moving forward. I have a VAST Western regional stone collection, have been building my antique/vintage stone collection for a few years, building my faceted stone collection, and look forward to seeing how I'll integrate it all into carved pieces. I also may be doing hybridized work where it's partially carved and partially fabricated. Idk. The sky is the limit. Jumping into the unknown!
💙 To my outdoorsy/Western/boho folks, don't panic - Turquoise is not going anywhere!! My cool regional sourced stones are here to stay. Elk Ivory work is here to stay (I'm working on ways to streamline booking projects for that process! And have some ideas). I am here to stay!!! 🫶🖤 Thanks for the love!

Hey, all! It's been MIA for a bit 🫠 Me and the fam all came down with some super nasty stuff, and were very sick for weeks! The sickest I've been in a VERY long time. Respiratory infections are no joke. Yay for antibiotics. I can actually talk now without going into a coughing fit.

I am happy to report we are *finally* feeling better, fevers subsided and now eventually coughing is subsiding, and I am able to start creating and filling those custom orders again. And we are getting caught up on some homeschooling too!
I will be reaching out to clients to give them updates on timelines. 🫶

Thank you for your patience! Thank you to everyone that noticed I was not on here much, and checked in on me. I appreciate it so much.
If you're a client with hard deadline custom we planned for Mother's Day - I have got you. 🫶💪

There are currently a few types of listings up- they will be getting pulled soon, price adjustments made, and just a general online shop refresh.
With my current chapter of life - I am working Made to Order listings in between custom slots, homeschooling, and life. So there is a range of estimated time of completion. If you have a hard deadline for a piece/order, please message me *before* you purchase to make sure I can accommodate you.

Show me your Ghost Town Metal Works collection!

You may spot that Red-Tailed hawk necklace around this week, strung on Suzie's neck, as she attends the annual events, including as she hosts an invitation only Farm to Table gourmet dinner experience tonight. You may have spotted it around MY neck on Saturday at the WSF Reno Sheep Show.

This group belongs to one of my childhood besties, Suzie (we are at 40 years and counting for our friendship!). This group does not represent all of her GTMW pieces I've created for her over the last 9yrs. But these are the ones I dragged to the Sheep Show last week to show off! I love the mix of the Nevada claims and the mix of styles too. You guys seemed to really enjoy seeing this group in person in Reno, so figured I'd feature them online too! 🥹 I made this special necklace way back when! Nevada cut Stone Mountain Turquoise, set into a hand fabricated Red-tailed Hawk bib necklace setting... Custom for my childhood bestie, Suzie. She let me borrow it back for Reno Sheep Show, and I was so excited. I've always loved this design so much..even all these years later. Maybe it's finally time to make myself one 🤣

Ps- we sure miss our Archie boy. It makes my heart full to see old pictures or videos pop up with him in it. 🐾

GTMW Announcements! Scroll over for slides or down for more information (read the caption) 👉👇 Regarding customs, inventory,. upcoming shows, and a social media break.

Time for my 3rd Annual Social Media Break ... This time is so restorative to me, my soul, and my energy. I highly recommend everyone do a social media detox 1-4x a year! It's so refreshing. I love social media but breaks are needed.
It just means I significantly cut back my time on here, schedule posts in advance to be sent out, and not actively monitoring. I can still be reached via email, website, or text. Clients with projects in my queue/being planned/waiting: I will be in touch with you throughout in regards to updates or information as needed.

I will be starting my break next week, and it will last 4-6 weeks.

I will continue working on custom orders, will be doing continuing education online (wax carving, casting this year!!), playing with new ideas for jewelry, preparing for inventory creation, recharging, travelling and adventuring with my family.

I am still currently closed to *new* custom clients, as I am actively working through existing custom orders spanning to January. Thanks for the continued business and patience from my existing clients. I am so excited for their projects!
Note: I will have ready to buy inventory (including merch) in my GTMW online shop by November, and continue to have items available via The Bow Rack. I will be having a booth in January at the Reno Sheep Show.

Then I will be having a stocked online Ghost Town Metal Works shop by Nov, and a stocked booth for the WSF Reno Sheep Show January 22-24, 2026.

I will be opening up custom/bespoke project slots to new clients on a case by case basis for the spring. If you want to work with me for elk ivories, bringing them to the Reno Show is a great way to start the process.
