Mother Bucker Back Story

As a mother, I had put all my extra time and money into raising my children. This winter, I had a much needed girls night at our local Mexican restaurant for yummy food and delicious margaritas. When I was looking through my closet that afternoon, I couldn't find anything I wanted to wear out and that's when I realized that I hadn't bought clothes for myself for over 2 years! Sure, a Walmart shirt here and there, but nothing worth wearing for a girls night out. So that's when I purged my closet and started buying new clothes! Now in this quarantine, I had absolutely no reason to wear nice clothes or put on makeup, which I had just told my husband last night that this is the longest I’ve ever gone without putting on makeup since I started wearing it in high school, so I haven't even been able to wear any of my new cute clothes! So, I’ve been stuck at home, babysitting children, and dreaming of when all this crap is over that I can show off my new closet. Well, I was laying in bed one evening and flipping through my phone and realized that I had not bought any new jewelry. so I started thinking, “well, I have leather and leather working tools, plenty of artsy fartsy supplies, and plenty of time, I’ll just make my own!” So guess what I started doing the next day! I’ve been making leather earring for a few weeks now and have fallen in love with it! I’m not a super trendy gal, as you probably won’t ever catch me wearing anything other then Wranger jeans. I’m just a mom, wife, farm girl, and horse lover who hopes others like my creations as much as I do as I really enjoy doing this.
