My name is Vonda & I am a self-taught artist who specializes in reborn baby dolls. I live in Circleville, OH with my husband, Greg, my grown daughter, Faith, and my son, Alan. Circleville, OH is famous for the greatest free show on earth… The Pumpkin Show!

I use high quality material on my dresses, and I only use Genesis Heat Set Paints on my baby dolls that will not fade or rub off. Many hours are spent building up layers of paint and creating these beautiful works of art.

Reborn Baby Dolls The Reborning Process: First, the vinyl sculpt is given a bubble bath to remove any factory residue which may still remain on the kit. The sculpt is then painted in many thin layers with great attention to detail, from the top of the head down the tips of the toes. This process can take many days to create the perfect baby skin tones and effects. A small industrial magnet is attached to the inside of the head on most babies to allow them to have a pacifier. (PLEASE DO NOT PLACE THESE MAGNETS AROUND PACEMAKERS.) My daughter, Faith Potter, then uses a fine needle to micro-root the hair by hand. We only use premium mohair, and this can take hours to do. The mohair is then sealed inside the head using an industrial waterproof sealant so that the babies hair can be gently brushed & styled when needed. The baby is weighted in the legs, arms, body & head, with fine glass beads and then filled using a combination of more glass beads and polly fill. Even the head will need supported like a real baby!

I mostly make newborn, but I also make preemies, NICU preemies, and occasionally larger babies. I have the lowest priced realistic reborn baby dolls that you will find!

I have had many requests for custom babies that can be made to look like a photo. I only sell baby dolls that are complete. I do not make customs.
