I spent 3.5 hours in the car on Sunday.

I woke up at 5:00 am, got my girls ready for dance competition day #2 in Des Moines, and then had to hit the road back home to pack up my car and head to a market. I was on the road before 6:30 am. It made for such an early morning and lots of gas guzzled.

Thankfully, I had and on my route to fuel me up with E-88 gas. Lower fuel emissions, lower price at the tank, and a better performance for my car.

Plus that early morning sunrise wasn’t bad either!

I’m back!

I haven’t done an in person market since February. March and April tend to be time focused on my family. Spring break, dance competitions, and full time work getting really busy.

But I’m back ready for a TON of in person events. I can’t wait to see you all—especially because I’ll have a lot of new designs coming with me.

Running a small business = living in messy buns because not recovering from postpartum hair loss and rolling into perimenopausal hair loss is not for the weak. 😅

Every late night, every idea, every risk I take with this business, I hope it shows my girls that women can build something of their own.

Sometimes the simplest custom order speaks the loudest statement.

“There is still time to say this isn’t what I signed up for and mean it, to say I see it now and I can’t unsee it, to say my silence ends today. However you got here, whatever you supported, whatever you stayed quiet through, it can be changed starting right now. Changing your mind is not weakness, it is the bravest kind of growth.”—

This isn’t a political issue, but one of humanity. Because of that, I won’t stay silent on my business page—something I’ve kept separate from feelings in the past. But this, this is more than anything that my business is or will ever be.
