Before I had kids, before homeschooling, before life got wonderfully full… I spent long, quiet hours creating jewelry. No deadlines, no rush — just a small workbench, a cup of tea, and whatever inspiration showed up that day.

This week, I opened a box I hadn’t touched in over seven years and found pieces from that season of my life. They hold a sweetness I’d forgotten… the early days of Rebecca Harvey Designs, when I was learning what beauty looked like to me.

So I’ve decided to release a few of these “vault” pieces leading up to Christmas.
Each one is one-of-a-kind, made in a quieter chapter, and carries a little piece of the artist I was becoming.

There’s something sacred about the old hymns — the way the words and notes carry light across generations. ✨

These handmade ornaments are created from vintage hymnals, carefully soldered in glass and finished with hand-dyed ribbon. Each one captures a bit of that warm, nostalgic glow that only Christmas music brings.

They’re perfect for gifting, for tucking into stockings, or for hanging on your own tree as a quiet reminder of what this season is truly about.

This necklace was one of my earliest designs.
A mix of contrasts: bold brass and soft pearls, strength and elegance, restoration and grace.

It’s made from vintage finds that had their own stories long before they found their way to my workbench.
I cleaned them up, brought them together, and gave them a new life — a small reminder that the things we once set aside can become something remarkable again.

Four years ago I pressed pause on my business. Partially because of the openeing of our family business, partially because of the adoption of our little boy, but mainly because I had lost the desire to design. It wasn't fun anymore and felt more like a chore than anything else.

Fast forward...our business has been open 5 years and is thriving, our little boy started pre-K and I have felt my head come back above water and have a desire to design again.

So today, I am happy to announce that I have reopened my shop. For now, it has past designs that are still available, but will soon have new designs.

For as long as I remember I have dreamed of being a mama, and it's all and more than everything my dreams could have imagined.

A year ago we were 6 weeks in. It was all still foggy and seemed unbelievable. Like we were still living someone else life.

I've been thinking of all of you who struggle with this journey to motherhood today.
