ABOUT:
I've always had a passion for art and creating beautiful things. Years ago, I started making silverware jewelry as a break from crafting Christmas wreaths and arrangements for the big winter craft show I used to co-host in my hometown. I instantly fell in love with the process. With a young family, though, my art took a backseat. Fast forward many years, and I stumbled upon a tub of vintage
silverware in my basement. That discovery reignited my passion, and Farmhouse FlatWEAR was born. After another break a few years ago, I've returned with renewed energy and expanded to include several new jewelry lines. Combining my love for antiques and vintage with my creativity, I developed four unique lines that now make up Farmhouse Jewelry Company:
🌿 Farmhouse FlatWEAR: Jewelry crafted from vintage and antique silverware.
🔥 Farmhouse Fired: Jewelry made from clay which is then glazed, fired and accented with vintage and modern beads.
✨ Farmhouse Nouveau: Jewelry designed with vintage and modern beads for a timeless, vintage-inspired look.
♻️ Farmhouse Reimagined: Jewelry created from vintage bits and baubles such as keys, buttons, and broken jewelry. I also love using vintage and modern Czech glass beads on my pieces! Czech glass beads, often referred to as Bohemian glass beads, are renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship and quality. They feature vibrant colors and unique finishes. Each bead is distinct, adding to their charm and appeal. I love their vintage look and imperfections. Each piece of my jewelry is unique, created with whatever inspires me in the moment, ensuring no two pieces are the same. Since everything is handcrafted, there may be slight imperfections. Old silverware often bears signs of wear, as do vintage keys and buttons. Clay firing and glazing can be unpredictable, and vintage or Czech beads may have minor flaws. However, I am very particular about the final product and never sell anything that doesn’t meet my standards. These imperfections add character and charm, making each piece special and one of a kind.
