Creative Input by Liz Allman Day Passionate about handcrafting jewelry. I love metalsmithing, enameling, setting stones and twisting wire. I have a lot of hammers! I am an avid recycler.

There is something spiritual about having a flat piece of metal then hammering it, cutting it or stamping it into something transformed by my hand. Enameling and adding sparkly stones give color when I want (and I usually want) and hammering adds texture. This work is my purpose, my heart and I am laying it out there for you. I was once transformed so me and my metal have something in common. The

vintage/antique aspect of my world is simple. I love it and can not stand the thought of a piece ending up throw away. I comb the streets looking for curbside items to either resue myself or take to a charity. What is left over, I clean up and sell to someone who can appreciate it for its story, its quality, its previous life. Again, I was cleaned up and given new life. I am so very grateful for all the lives that have touched me in my process.
