Vdub Vibe has officially entered DEFCON 1: Full Air-Cooled Production Mode. šØ
The sticker printer has been screaming louder than an air-cooled engine climbing a mountain in July. Special UV-protected window decals rolled out for Wild Bill, Wendy, and Terry ā because apparently sunburn isnāt just a human problem anymore.
Meanwhile, Paul somehow talked me into not one, but TWO custom Frosty decal designs. Honestly, the amount of time I spend making cartoon Volkswagens look fabulous should probably qualify as a trade skill at this point.
Sticker production is absolutely unhinged right now. Ray, Wild Bill, Wendy, Terry, Jeff, Tammy, and Picklebus are all getting fresh vinyl glow-ups and let me tell youā¦ these stickers are looking cleaner than a freshly restored engine bay nobody is allowed to touch.
And naturally ā because I apparently have no self-control around art supplies or Volkswagen ideas ā I accidentally designed more stickers for myself. Which somehow spiraled directly into creating a whole new event shirt for the upcoming Tech Session Campout. One minute youāre ājust making a stickerā and the next thing you know youāre elbow-deep in font choices at 2am arguing with a cartoon bus about color palettes.
Supplies have been ordered. Vinyl is flying. The caffeine levels are medically concerning. And this year Iām beyond excited (and slightly covered in sticker backing paper) to be producing not only the goodie bags, but CUSTOM KOOZIES for the legendary VolksJam! š»š
If you hear distant air-cooled noises and the sound of a Cricut fighting for its lifeā¦ donāt worry. Thatās just Vdub Vibe in full production season.
