Vintage silverware is the main medium I work with in creating my jewelry. I like to incorporate gemstone beads, stainless steel, and hand stamping into my pieces. Cutting, sawing, sanding, soldering, die cutting, polishing, and hand patina are many of the processes I use to transform a piece of vintage silverware into jewelry. Thank you for visiting my site.

My Story

I have been a visual arts teacher for 21 years. I love art in every aspect! I began exploring jewelry making through metal stamping. Manipulating aluminum, stainless steel, vintage silverware, and leather into jewelry has become a passion of mine. Creating jewelry that has meaning and a personal touch to the recipient is very satisfying and rewarding. "Rise. Bloom. Radiate." was inspired by the Lotus flower. For me, it symbolizes perseverance, positivism, and hope. The Lotus rises from the mud, blooms with confidence, and radiates it's beauty. Many of us have risen from the mud at some point in our lives. We have persevered to bloom and radiate the talents and strengths we possess and strive to create a positive “vibe” on those around us.
