Cicada season is in full swing! 🌀 I’ve been spending my jewelry-making breaks walking in the park by my apartment and finding dead cicadas, saving them for jewelry. I definitely am the weirdo of the park lol, but it’s quite fun and the end result of the jewelry is sooo worth it

I recently finished this cicada necklace with Labradorite and Lapis Lazili ✨ it features a real cicada (from the 17 year brood!) that I covered in copper through electroforming and lots of patience. So excited to share these new Fluorite octahedron necklaces that I’ve been working on 💚

I envisioned these for a while now, and didn’t realize how complicated they were to create until I started 🫠 I had painted each edge and covered each side with protective latex before electroforming. Even though these took me longer than I expected, I’m so psyched about the results! I have green, purple and clear fluorite available 🌙

I’ll have these available this Sunday at Hailstorm Brewing Co. from 11-5pm ✨ so excited to see who snags one of these! I’ve been wearing mine nonstop and have gotten so many compliments already!
