Our Story
Spoon rings date back as far as the 1600’s in England and were originally thought to represent love, responsibility and commitment. As the story goes, servants who had fallen in love and wanted to propose marriage would steal silver spoons from their masters’ homes and have them crafted into rings. They were too poor to afford any sort of “real” engagement ring, so this was their best alternative to offering a beautiful and valuable ring to the woman they wanted to make their wife.
I carefully select my silverware pattern. Then I cut, bend and sand smooth and lightly clean and polish to preserve the natural patina & to enhance the beautiful carved detailing within the pattern. All patterns are vintage, no reproductions. Please remember, that even though we strive to find the best possible silverware to use, you will still see "treasure marks" which have been placed over time. We polish but do not remove these marks. This is a reminder to us of how our ancestors so carefully detailed and completed by hand each one of the silverware pieces we use in our bracelets for your enjoyment today.
