The Daniel Marshall Red Label "24kt Golden Cigar" originated from a project involving the Scarface Humidor. When Daniel Marshall was designing the Scarface Humidor for Universal Studios, he was also asked to design an ultra luxurious version of the humidor. This special version of 20 humidors were adorned with red and clear Swarovski crystal set into a bronze Tony Montana medallion on top of the h
umidor. The iconic phrase, "The World Is Yours" was set in red and clear Swarovski crystal. Daniel's next thought was, an "over the top" humidor deserved an "over the top" DM Cigar and the 24kt Golden Cigar was conceived. When the Scarface Humidor was launched at the annual cigar trade show, The Golden Cigar was on display in a glass dome. We were asked repeatedly if it could be purchased separately from the humidor. Designers from other top cigar brands came by our display and one of them declared the Daniel Marshall Golden Torpedo "a stroke of genius." DM was the first to make a golden cigar and is know as the original. We sold 5 of The Golden Cigars at $300 each at this show, with one of them going to Israel where the owner has it on display in the window of his shop to attract the customer, in Tel Aviv. The 24kt Golden DM Cigar is now know as one of the world's top celebration cigar and is coveted by most discriminating collectors and attracted renowned personalities globally.
