Margarita time!

For the love of Pete! If I (and I rarely do) make something with someone else's pattern, I always have to put my own spin on it. This teeny fella is with 15/0 seed beads and the salt on the rim is 17/0. 2mm Swarovskis for the lime on the rim of my Margarita! So much fun but also oy! Haha -SO hard to see what you're doing on something so small, white thread, silver needle, silver lined 15's ... but it's SO cute 😁🍋‍🟩

Final product! This was a passion that was a challenge and fun to design and create. I wanted to make my Mom something special for her **th birthday 🤍
I'm obsessed and want to make more!
(Per a sisters comment, I had to edit out age. I don't believe in this, but hell. I'm proud of my Mom, her age, that she GETS to be older -not something everyone gets to do. Age isn't a curse, it's a God given blessing)

Tried some 11/0 triangles but I didn't like they way the middles connected. Trying a hexagonal shape... we'll see

Pe**te triangles: opaque vs. colored glass, inside color lined. Totally different depth. I really wanted to make my project in the ICL but with so much pattern, I'm thinking opaque. Your thoughts?

Clearly, I L💜VE paisleys (what with my logo being a Paisley, my Bernese dog being named Paisley 😁) so I started -2 years ago, my self designed pen holder! Which was 95% complete. So yesterday, I completed it before starting another project ✔️🌟

It's a seed bead regular, but I wanted to try making one with gemstones; 2mm Labradorite. It's so much better in person

SO glad I didn't give up. I absolutely love it! More to do, but I'm happy with the shape and the pattern. I really wanted to focus on the way this has a pattern IN the spaces between the beads as well as the beads and colors. 🥰 what do you think? 🤔
