🧸 Toy Library Reminder: This Saturday, August 1! 9:30-12:30

In addition to our shop and play event, this month, one of our volunteers will host a special Toy Hospital. Bring your broken toys to see whether we can repair them. If they cannot be fixed, recycle them responsibly with us!

Join us for toy sharing, repairs, recycling, and community fun.

🌿 Mark your calendars! On Sunday, August 16 from 9am–11am, we'll be back at Oliver Street Park for another Habitat Restoration Volunteer Day.
We've been making real progress here clearing invasive Japanese Knotweed and replacing with native plants but there's still MORE! Japanese knotweed is highly invasive and creates large monocultures that provide little for wildlife.
Come help us continue improving the habitat in the park. No experience necessary. Sign-up at tinyurl.com/BTGTWorkDay

⚠️An Air Quality Action Day for Ozone has been declared for Thursday, July 2nd!

Sensitive individuals, including the very young, the elderly, and persons with respiratory diseases such as asthma, should avoid strenuous activities during the afternoon and early evening hours.

High pressure will continue to dominate the weather pattern, allowing for abundant sunshine, temperatures reaching as high as 105, and a southwesterly flow.

Ozone levels will remain in the Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (USG) category along the I-95 corridor and in central and southern portions of New Jersey as a result. Additionally, fine particulate levels will remain in the Moderate category statewide.
