Hill Country Beads

So I started beading what will be an eternal plant (for my daughter's office).
I am a little shocked at how many beads it is going to take to look nice.

If you sell these what is your price range? It will probably take me another 3h, I will need to get a container etc. I think if I sold it, I would have to charge 75+ but I doubt anyone in my area would pay more than 35.

I have so many questions. I should probably use more of the larger beads. Do you have a secret to buy bulk glass beads and do you downsize the pots and plants a lot to make smaller plants, or up the prices if you sell them (where is the market at?)

Did I need new beads? Depends who you ask! 🫣😆 I needed a new loop plier urgently and I saw that most things are 40%off online, and beadlanding is 60% off! Can't resist that kind of deal!

Morning fellow crafters and everyone else!
What are you up to this Saturday morning?
I bought a ton of beads again (oops!) and I will go pick them up today.
Then I have a ton of work to do for my regular job (about 6 hours of writing, let's see if I can get that done)
I decided to skip the mothers day market because I don't want to husle tomorrow, I'd rather have lunch with hubby and the kids before my son starts his shift.

For now, the weather is lovely so I am going to the farmer market and a coffee in town.

Nope, however Craig Harris ( Harris Boot and Saddlery ) sent me a couple of blank purses and I just got this guy finished up 🤠

It is with every fiber of my being that I don't keep him. Lol. No, he will be looking for a home at the Liberty Hill Pro Rodeo next week!

Many of the 5 and 10 dollars earrings and keychains have been claimed through DM before I made them.
I still have a few zodiac signs and owls and one pair of elephants, and I can make any baguette combination in any color (the line looking ones) so if you want one, please let me know today!

I will try to make extra for last minute request, there is never enough stock for the next market anyway.

Boerne and San Antonio peeps: I know that money is tight for a lot of people.

I made a special low cost collection this year for Mother's day if want to buy a gift without breaking the bank.
It starts at $5 for simple earrings and keychains, and we can meet somewhere for pick up, or I can ship to mom for the lowest cost available.
I will post it on my page tomorrow, have a look and let me know if you want anything!

Moms take care of everyone all the time. We don't expect anything in return, but getting nothing ever still stings a little. If there is a mom in your life, yours, your partner's, the one who is not your biological one but behaved as if, the mom of your kids too young to get it, give her the gift of free time.
Let her sleep in, the breakfast in bed can wait an hour.
Don't have her be in charge of lunch
If you want the kids to gift her something but can't spend much, or if you wish you could spoil your mom but now is not a good time, look around! Craft fairs, marketplace, garage sales, spend 5 dollars because it is true: it is the tought that counts. Get a frame at walmart and print a nice picture to put in.

I will have 5, 10, 15 and 20 💲 earrings and bracelets this Friday + shipping, and I know a ton of people will do the same.

In search of some green patterns!

So... I have been organizing my beads stash, and apparently at some point I went on a green craze. Either that or I never use them outside of making a few leaves and stems here and there (more likely).
Can you please share with me your green beadwork? Maybe a rope? Otherwise I am going to bead full forests. These are mostly the japanese and odd shapes but I have about double what's pictured in preciosa, and some green turquoise and chartreuse too.

I have a few native earrings that I love love love, but the ones I wear the most right now are from Wild Homer Designs. I also got some polar bear 🐻‍❄ ones from her but these are for my birthday so you won't see them until January.
