Howerton Jewelers plans to launch in the Yampa Valley (Colorado) this May! We plan to serve Steamboat Springs, Hayden, Craig, and surrounding townships with a custom-designed, private appointment jeweler.

Howerton Jewelers is relocating!

We are excited to announce that this June we are moving from Illinois to Colorado. We will be on the “western slope” in Yampa Valley near Steamboat Springs. We will be adding new capabilities to our private appointment, custom jewelry design/manufacturing core business via computer-aided design (CAD) software upgrades and manufacturing technology.

We are grateful for the 16 wonderful years we had in Illinois. Thankfully, with today’s technology it doesn’t matter quite as much where you are physically located. We will still be able to meet customers needs wherever they are!

This 3.5 carat wedding set is a newly-designed remount for a return client on their 10-year anniversary. She added a third band and a few more diamonds and wanted a more modern minimalist setting to showcase the diamonds. We greatly appreciate the trust our repeat customers give us! We have been using X-1 white gold for several years now which eliminates the need to have your ring “redipped,” or rhodium plated to renew the whiteness. X-1 white gold is beautiful and retains its whiteness much like platinum.

This thoughtful widowed grandmother wanted to make something special for her daughter and two granddaughters to remember her by. She had us transform her original wedding set, the new wedding set she received on her 25th wedding anniversary, and a couple of other rings into these diamond cross pendants. We used all the diamonds except one that was chipped but each daughter has a keepsake that will be forever special to them. It was such a fun project!
