In addition, I offer expert jewelry repair and jewelry appraisals. I have worked mostly for independent jewelers in various levels of retail. I opened Balboni Custom Je
weler, LLC on June 1, 2003 and started adding custom-made jewelry to my vast selection of ready-made jewelry. My credentials are as follows:
Graduate Gemologist - graduated from the Gemological Institute of America July 1994
Personal Property Appraiser - (specialty in gemstones and jewelry) - completed all of the core courses as well as advanced courses September 1995
I am a native of Newington, CT. I decided to locate my business here because of the people of this community as well as the surrounding communities. My business philosophy is simple - to treat customers as I would like to be treated, as a friend and to give them real value for their money. My business has been built on word of mouth and as you know, that is something money can’t buy. I attribute my success to my personal involvement in this community as well as the surrounding communities. My involvement extends to:

It is the giving that leaves me with the greatest feelings of pride and accomplishment. It’s all about making people smile. In 2003 I added Custom Jewelry Design & Custom-made Jewelry to my business model. Over the years I have found that much of this part of my business is typically bridal jewelry such as engagement rings and wedding bands.
