Immerse yourself in hands-on experiences for all ages, meet frontier storytellers, and explore the San Jacinto Lecture Series, where historians dive into the untold stories of the Texas Revolution.

Tomorrow, Saturday, April 18, is the 2026 San Jacinto Day Celebration, and we cannot wait to welcome you to the battleground for a full day of history, living history demonstrations, reenactments, and family fun.

Before you arrive, be sure to check out the event map so you can plan your day. You will find event entrances, parking and shuttle information, restrooms, water stations, food trucks, the vendor market, heritage exhibitors, living history areas, and reenactment locations all marked for your convenience. This event is rain or shine!

This April, the San Jacinto Battleground will once again hear the booming of cannons, the crack of musket fire, and the cries of “Remember the Alamo!” and “Remember La Bahia!”

Join us from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for the 2026 San Jacinto Day Celebration, presented by the San Jacinto Museum and Battlefield Association, as we commemorate the 190th anniversary of the Battle of San Jacinto.

Come ready to explore, learn, and experience April 1836 brought to life.

Baytown’s Grito Fest is officially 5 days away, but the celebration begins in 4 days on Friday, October 3! 🎶✨ ACE Council will be kicking off the weekend by hosting this year’s Pre-Grito Party at Baytown Town Square. 🎤💃

This free, non-ticketed event begins at 6 PM with live performances from Los Hermanos Lara, Mixteco Ballet Folklorico, and Mariachi Houston Latin, filling the Arts District with music, dance, and community spirit. 🌟🎺🎶
