I use traditional smithing techniques with sustainable metals to create metal art fashion.

My inspirations are many & probably too long to list - but are mostly: theology, the psychology of human nature, chemistry of metals, geometry, and art history - specifically mid-century modern design. People who have inspired me the most are my Mom, Dad, & Nana, as they encouraged my art by being amazing artists in their own right. Thanks for looking!!!!! Found this Color-aid sample colors swatch that was my mom’s from 1982. We went to college & took classes together, one of them was a Color Theory class that she loved. She was 64 years old when she started college & went until she was in her 70s. My mom taught me that you can do anything if you have goals & dreams. She taught me how to see color, how to see beauty in all things. She was an amazing artist. Posting this in honor of her for Mother’s Day.

We did it! Finally got the booth set up & now can set up in about 10 minutes because we’ve been practicing like every time we have the time. Big shout-out to my dear husband who is the best guy in the world. That tent has a steel frame so is not easy to set up. Now all I have to do is get more product made & we’ll be good.

When I was a kid I was fascinated with puzzle rings. Couldn’t replicate one but I made this ring which is 3 sterling silver rings formed from wire & linked together. They call it a Russian wedding ring (yes they really call it that I don’t know why). Gifted to one of my favorite people.

A coworker asked me about earring bezels & we got into a discussion of how to make bezel earrings & rings. And guess what popped up in my photos. Made this ring a few years ago & my cousin fell in love with it. It’s been posted before but it looks so nice on her, took this photo when I visited NJ last year.

Peach agate stone in handmade bezel. That bezel took forever to create, but the joy is to create something from nothing but metal & stone.

Made these dangle earrings a while back for a co-worker. Gold-plated filigree beads with blue crystals. She was happy. There’s nothing like the feeling you get when someone’s face lights up when they wear jewelry they requested & I made for them.
