Cameron Kruse Designs Handcrafted, Worn Daily
Sterling & Gold-Filled Jewelry Every clasp, link, and stone, has been handled by me, the artist, with much care.

As a metalsmith artist, I fabricate each piece of my collection from start to finish using traditional metalsmithing techniques. All components are made with sterling silver or 14 karat gold-filled metal which I then cut, solder, form, hammer, and polish. After I give a piece its final polish, I often add natural stones or freshwater pearls to complete the designs. Because each piece is handcrafted, please note that subtle differences may occur, thus adding to each piece's character and charm.

This month marks 13 years of being a full-time artist, and I’ve found myself reminiscing about the journey.
Sometimes I wonder what I was thinking when I graduated from college and decided to give this business a real shot. I like to say I was young and naive enough to try and stubborn enough to make it work.
I moved back in with my parents and started my business out of my childhood bedroom—something I don’t think I’ve ever admitted on the internet! Honestly, there aren’t many photos of that first studio because I was embarrassed and wanted to be taken as a serious artist. I poured everything I had into building this business and worked around the clock.
Two years later, I was able to move out and support myself doing what I love.
Over the last 13 years, no two have looked the same. I have participated in over 100 art festivals, 30 pop up events, 7 wholesale trade shows, and have worked with over 75 stores. This business has seen 4 different studios, three moves, and buying two homes, and setting up my dream home studio. But it has also seen me through the loss of my dad, a pandemic that nearly ended my business, the loss of my cat Stella, my divorce, and now a new relationship. Through every season, both my business and I have proven to be resilient.
I’ve had to remind myself of that recently after a couple of stores I’ve worked with closed. But God has faithfully carried this business through every high and low, and I’m so thankful.
Most of all, I’m incredibly grateful for every customer who has supported my work over the years. Because of you, I’ve been able to make a living doing something I truly love.
Thirteen years ago, I had no idea where this path would lead. Looking back now, I can honestly say it’s been better than I ever could have imagined. 🤍

Wonder what I am doing when I’m not making jewelry and running my business? One of my favorite hobbies is thrifting/antiquing and a little home diy project. I have been in my current home for almost 5 years and I have loved transforming it bit by bit to really reflect my personal style and create my dream living & work space. This project has taught me patience and that good things take time. But do not necessarily need to cost a lot of money. I was able to thrift this frame for $2 and add a $5 note card from a trip I took to Charleston last year and create a beautiful piece of art for my gallery wall. I take these stairs down to my basement several times per day since my studio is downstairs. It is a dream of mine to completely line this stairway with art.
