Thinking soft thoughts. Added a small collection of simple pieces to the website, bringing in a new geometric motif for the new year. Delicate rectangles in silver or gold-fill, tiny matte gemstones, playful chains. The weather is heading into spring-like territory here after a brutally cold blast, and it’s got me feeling optimistic and energized ✨ (ok maybe that gemstone-sourcing trip to Tucson also put a little pep in my step!)

Just finished up a big one: a 14k white gold wedding ring set featuring cast-in-place raw Montana sapphires and garnets from these mountains, stones collected by family members and by the engaged couple themselves. A massive thank you to my very talented friend Britta () who is getting married in just a few weeks, who trusted me with this special project, and who had the patience of a saint even after two failed castings. The project was an incredible learning opportunity, one in which I would have been completely lost if it weren’t for the angels at , who are an incredible asset to the creative community here in Asheville (found a sweet pic of .julia on my phone with Uva, the cutest studio pup ever). So excited to see these creations on the big day, and to take all these new skills forward with me as I design future pieces.
