Truth
Cutting ties with someone doesn’t mean I hate them or think they no longer belong in my life. Sometimes, it simply means that the connection has become exhausting. The peace that once existed is gone, and the relationship no longer feels the same. Whether it’s because things stopped making sense, the bond faded, or trust was broken — the decision to walk away is often the best choice for my own well-being.
If I ever choose to distance myself from you, I hope you won’t see it as hatred. It’s not about resentment; it’s about choosing my peace over unnecessary pain. While I can’t control how others act, I can decide how much I allow into my life. And sometimes, that means letting go — not out of anger, but out of self-respect.
