Maika and her Thoroughbred mare TikkašŸ¤ 
Four years ago, I met Tikka, a spicy and sassy Thoroughbred mare who I originally leased for a couple of months. I quickly fell in love with her personality and decided she was meant to be mine, so we ended up buying her!

For the past three years, Tikka and I have been barrel racing together. Weā€™ve had amazing runs, frustrating days, and everything in between, but every experience has helped us grow closer and become a better team.

Tikka has taught me so much about patience, confidence, trust, and never giving up. She may not always be the easiest mare, but she is my partner and I wouldnā€™t change her for anything.

Winning a new saddle for Tikka would mean so much to me. Having a saddle that fits her properly and keeps us both comfortable would help us continue chasing our barrel racing goals together.

From a two-month lease to four years together, Iā€™m so thankful for this crazy mare and everything she has taught me. Iā€™m so grateful for her and excited for wherever our journey takes us. I wouldnā€™t trade our story for anything. Hereā€™s to many more runs, memories, and goals together.

Wynsley and Cody šŸ¤ 
Wynsley has been riding Cody for 4 years and brought him out of retirement to use him on her Equestrian Mounted Drill -(Triple H Mounted Drill Team). It took a lot of hard work, but her and Cody have accomplished so many goals that most horses at Codyā€™s age (29) could probably never do! She has since been named Captain of the JV Drill while having Cody and travels with her team all over South Eastern States in the SEMDTA competitions. Adalynn (13) is a self taught cowgirl who begged her city parents for a horse at the age of 6. She and Ruby (8) met 2 years ago and instantly fell in love. Adalynn has read nearly every book on horses and spent thousands of hours with Ruby learning how to ride. Itā€™s been an amazing experience watching them learn to trust each other. While neither of her parents knew how to care for a horse initially, Adalynn has done everything in her power at 13 years old to make sure sheā€™s doing right by her horse. If anyone is worthy of a new saddle itā€™s this humble young lady who loves her horse more than anything.

Lindy and sweetie started doing rodeo together this past winter and are learning together as a team. A girl learning to handle her stinker little pony as well as a pony getting used to the rodeo life and trusting her girl. We are excited for what the future holds & are so proud of them for doing the things with confidence all while having fun & enjoying the moments. Lindy has lots to learn with sweetie and we always tease her that when sheā€™s ready to move up to a big horse, she will have sweetie ready to go for her little sister who is hot on her heels to love on sweetie! I donā€™t remember a time when I didnā€™t have a horse.

I got my first pony, Lulu, when I was 2 and I showed her in leadline and buckeroo. I decided at a young age that Lulu was not fast enough for me so I begged and begged and begged my mom to let me ride her horse, Reggie, a powerful horse who was extremely difficult. Finally, with great reservations, my mom said I could.

Reggie and I have had our ups and downs but in the end he is my heart horse. My mom always tells me that I ride him way better than she ever did and that Reggie would do things for me he wouldnā€™t do for anyone else.

Sadly, the last few years Reggie is getting older and more stifg so our show career has slowed down. This year, though, he has decided it is his year, and is running better than he has in a long time.

I would love a new saddle for Reggie so we can continue our career and maybe make him a little more comfortable.

Iā€™m Millie, an 11-year-old homeschooler, animal lover, and girl with BIG barrel-racing dreams! Iā€™ve been riding for about 3 years, and in March 2026, my lease owner, Wendy, asked me to come look at a horse. That horse was Mesa. When we brought him home, Wendy said, ā€œMillie, I think this horse will be yours. You two will grow together.ā€ She was right.

We quickly discovered Mesa was scared of almost everything on the farm the goats, pigs, alpacas, and anything that wasnā€™t a horse! But he wasnā€™t scared of ME. So we began building trust. I worked with him every chance I could, helping him become braver and more confident.

Mesa had never run barrels before me. At first, he was even afraid of the barrels! We started slowly walking, circling, figure eights, then trotting. Now we canter the pattern!

Weā€™re growing together every day, and our partnership is built on trust, patience, and never giving up.

Winning this saddle would mean so much to us and our journey ā¤ļø

Arabella and Kota šŸ¤ 
Kota is an 8-year-old off-the-track Thoroughbred, and these two have been a team for the past two years.

Arabella fell in love with Thoroughbreds through her previous trainer and quickly became fascinated with the process of retraining them for a new career. She knew she wanted to learn that process herself. With the help and guidance of some amazing trainer friends, Arabella has been working with Kota to give him a new job in barrels and poles.

The journey hasnā€™t always been easy. Arabella has learned that retraining takes patience, consistency, trust, and plenty of hard days. But those difficult days make the amazing moments even more special when something finally clicks and you can see Kota and Arabella beginning to understand each other.

Kota is teaching Arabella just as much as she is teaching her. Their journey is a reminder that progress isnā€™t always about going fast; sometimes itā€™s about taking one step forward together.
