Policies, Terms and Conditions

I accept PayPal. Shipping costs are in addition to the price of the item.
+SHIPPING+
PLEASE BE SURE YOUR PAYPAL INFORMATION IS UP TO DATE.
US Orders - All US orders are shipped via USPS First Class Mail or USPS Priority Mail. Please let me know if you prefer First Class or Priority.
All items listed are available to ship unless they are marked sold. There may only be one available of each item, however new items will be posted often. Shipments will go out within 2 business day of receipt of payment. If you require Express shipping please let me know when ordering.
International Orders- International orders will use USPS Priority Mail International
Please note that I am not responsible for any customs fees for international shipping. Any customs fees, taxes, tariffs, duties, etc., that may be incurred at the time of delivery would be at the discretion of your country's tax regulations and are payable by the buyer. For any additional information refer to your local customs agency. Returns will not be accepted due to customs fees.
Insurance - If you would like to purchase insurance please send me a message and I will send you an updated invoice for the additional costs.
+REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES+
I want you to be satisfied with your purchase and can be contacted through private message for any questions or concerns. Returns of unused items in excellent condition will be accepted within 14 days of purchase for an even exchange or a refund for the purchase price MINUS the shipping and handling fees. Please contact me first for a Return ID number.
*Items that have been personalized are not refundable UNLESS there is an error made in the spelling of the name(s).

Customization- I am happy to lengthen or shorten select bracelets to fit (design permitting). Likewise, I can convert *almost* any style earring I make from pierced to clip-on to fit your needs. Designs that are available in different colors will state in their descriptions. Other items subject to customization charges.
*Please note that due to constant changes in jewelry making resource and supply, certain beads, clasps, charms, etc., may suddenly become unavailable and appropriate substitutions will be made.
On a Whim Designs reserves the right to change designs and pricing at any time. Design/color changes to delivered items subject to charge.
The majority of jewelry manufacturers state on their packaging if their product is lead-free. I make every effort to buy only lead-free products but cannot guarantee if the manufacturer's packaging does not state. If you have any concerns please contact me;
Beaded jewelry and/or small charms should not be worn/given to children under the age of three due to possible choking hazard.
Jewelry Care
Please treat your jewelry as you would anything delicate. While I make pieces as securely as possible, it's still possible to break items in certain conditions. Most pieces are not practical in heavy industrial settings. Please take care to clean your jewelry with a soft cloth. Also, it's best to wait until after applying hairspray, perfume, etc., to put on your jewelry as to prolong its wearability.
