Who owns the 602 and how did it get started? The Club itself is owned by the members, set up as a non-profit. The Club rents space in the house from Neighborhood Investments, LLC., a for profit set up by Joanna Dane, Andrew Dane, Tim Watson, Pete Smaby in August 2014 for sole purpose of purchasing the property to do something positive for the neighborhood. How do events work? Members propose events, program, classes, workshops, etc. Some events/programs we will ask for donations (to pay artists for example). Others we will not (Sheepshead night).
