CSX Heritage Chessie System HO-Scale ES-44DC custom painted and lettered by Darren Cohen of North Valley Trains on a BLI Paragon 4 locomotive equipped with DCC and Sound. The client supplied the locomotive whisch was stripped and repainted into this very colorful scheme. Note we used .colorpaint on this project as we do on all of our custom painted models. Their accuracy is outstanding! Colors used all Chessie colors along with White and Black. Color separation is achieved by using their masking paper as it does not disturb any previous colors applied. Decals and paint sealed with TCP-014 Satin per customer request. We can do most anything on N-, HO-, S- or O-Scale locomotives, freight and passenger cars. Darren Cohen of North Valley Trains custom painted this HO-Scale BLI Paragon 4 locomotive in the Dakota, Minnesota and Eastern 2-tone paint scheme. The locomotive is an SD40-2 and painted as the prototype. City of Springfield and number 6064 is accurate for this locomotive. Darren Cohen custom painted this O-Scale RS-11 in Apache Railway 3-color scheme using Tru-Color Paint and their masking paper. The RS-11 was supplied by the client and stripped using our proprietary solution that does not harm plastic models! After stripping the model was thoroughly washed with warm soapy water, rinsed and allowed to dry overnight. Then the locomotive was primed and painted white, masked and painted red, masked again and finally painted the light blue on the roof and upper sides. Decals were applied which adheres excellently to Tru-Color Paint as all standard dry glossy. We can custom paint any N-, HO, S-, and O-Scale diesel locomotives, passenger or freight cars.
