Behold! Finally finished these pretty (Ak) blues, I almost gave them some fringed beads in the lower part of the fabric but at the end I decided to just go with an accent blue and blue + yellow beaded frame. Find them at the this month or DM if you have questions or would like them! ✨🫐✨

You might remember that year I made peacock earrings out of polymer clay, this time I wanted to give them a try with fabric and yarn with a pretty metallic green thread accent…boy did it take me forever to finish them?!!😆 buuuut…was it worth my time? 200%!

Next in the denim earring series: my chunkyliscious bumble bees enjoying pretty daisies 🐝!

Swipe to see the process, my favorite parts of creating these, were the making of the black tiny pom pom (watch video in previous post) and fraying the bottom parts of each earring😊 So expect to see more in the near future!

Here they are!!! 😍😍😍 and although my tulips are the first sign of floral life happening in my front yard, I just kept on thinking of poppies, string of pearls and puffy blooms 💐 so Voilá!

Folk denim earrings made out of repurposed jeans! I decided to give life back again to these special pairs of mine by hand embroidering cheerful poppies, macrame planters with tons of green French knots and a woven-wheel stitch happy bouquet.

I stitched together the front and back denim pieces with metallic gold thread, added fancy charms to some or made denim studs for the the pink bouquets. Hope you love them!

My hands always find a way of staying busy, this time I’ve been playing with my old jeans and repurposing them into jewelry! Of course 💁🏻‍♀️🪡✂️

These pairs will be finished by tomorrow, along with new layered necklaces that will be available at the and my next pop ups in town!

Our sweet Co-op is mentioned in this article! Even my Folky jewelry got featured in a picture 🥰 love how our space has come together with everyone’s effort!

An artist co-op, a downtown gift shop and a store offering macarons and Filipino baked goods have also opened in Anchorage.

🔥What a night!!!🔥 HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that came, partied with us and supported our art work during our Co-op opening! We had a full house and loved visiting with locals, friends and hotel guests☺️

Hola!! Even if I’ve been quiet behind the screens, my hands have been busy at the shop while playing with double layered pretty necklaces 🌻😊🙌🏻 AAAAND getting our awesome Co-op ready for tonight’s not only First Friday, but also our official opening after being working on a soft mode!

Spring has sprung and every day more and more local birds come say hi in my backyard🥰! Swallows are highly represented in Mexican folk art, especially in Talavera ceramics and since I can’t create authentic talavera pieces at home, I decided to make my own by using polymer clay, a stamp and acrylic paint. I’m so in love with these pairs that I’ll be crafting more soon, I’m even tempted to cure them with a layer of clear resin to give them more a shiny “tile” look!
