Verified Quality Crafters (VQC) is committed to building a trusted community of skilled artisans who demonstrate quality craftsmanship, professionalism, ethical business practices, and respect for fellow creators.
Our accreditation standards are designed to ensure consistency, transparency, and confidence for both our vendors and our future customers.
Craftsmanship & Quality
Accredited vendors are expected to produce work that demonstrates consistent craftsmanship, appropriate finishing, durability, and professional presentation within their chosen medium.
Originality & Creative Integrity
Verified Quality Crafters is built on mutual respect for the creative work of others.
Traditional techniques, common construction methods, and widely recognized design elements are welcomed throughout the artisan community. However, direct copying, close replication, or intentional adaptation of another artist’s distinctive design language, recognizable original work, or proprietary creative concepts without permission is inconsistent with the standards of Verified Quality Crafters.
Authenticity
VQC is committed to authentic, human-made products. Vendors must accurately represent the materials, methods, and level of handmade involvement in every product they offer.
Professional Business Practices
Accredited vendors are expected to conduct themselves professionally when interacting with customers, fellow artisans, and the public. Honest marketing, respectful communication, ethical business practices, and accurate representation of products are fundamental expectations of every VQC vendor.
Participation
Participation in the VQC Accreditation Program is free; however, failure to comply with any VQC standards, policies, or requirements may result in removal from the program.
As Verified Quality Crafters continues to grow, these standards may be expanded or refined to better serve both our accredited artisans and the customers who place their trust in the VQC name.
