Hélène Litorelle X Treasury of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine

Accessory inspired by an artifact from the exhibition “Treasures of Crimea. Return” – an acroterion (architectural ornament) depicting a goddess, discovered in Panticapaeum (present-day Kerch, 1st century BCE / 1st–2nd century CE).
⠀
At the heart of the Hélène Litorelle scarf lies the image of a goddess emerging from acanthus shoots, merging with the vegetal world into a single living whole. The composition is enriched by the symbols of a butterfly and serpents: the butterfly embodies the soul, transformation, and renewal, while the serpents signify wisdom and protection.
⠀
The central figure echoes the ancient cult of Aphrodite Apatoura and the archetype of the Great Goddess – embodying fertility, growth, and feminine power. The acanthus, a symbol of flourishing and vitality, extends the female form, emphasizing the profound connection between human nature and the natural world.

The scarf “Acanthus Goddess” becomes part of the return of cultural symbols connected to Crimea. For Hélène Litorelle, it is not merely an adornment, but a living fabric of memory – a mandala where myth, nature, and the feminine essence intertwine.

This dress is created from living flowers.

I gather them by hand and through a special transfer technique transform them into a textile print while preserving the natural shape, texture, and delicate movement of each petal. This is not an illustration. It is the imprint of a real flower held within the fabric.

Within the floral composition, a dove formed from rose petals can be discovered. It reveals itself gradually, becoming a symbol of peace, memory, and quiet inner strength.

Dieses Kleid wird aus lebenden Blumen geschaffen.

Ich sammle sie von Hand und verwandle sie durch eine spezielle Transfertechnik in einen Textilprint, wobei die natürliche Form, Textur und die feine Bewegung jedes Blütenblatts erhalten bleiben. Das ist keine Illustration. Es ist der Abdruck einer echten Blume, der im Stoff bewahrt wird.

In der floralen Komposition lässt sich eine Taube entdecken, die aus Rosenblättern geformt ist. Sie zeigt sich nach und nach und wird zu einem Symbol für Frieden, Erinnerung und stille innere Stärke.

For the archetype of Strength, I worked with a Hélène Litorelle corset printed with the imagery of ancient jewelry, and lion-shaped earrings as symbols of inner sovereignty.
⠀
The corset embodies inner structure - not restriction, but conscious form and alignment within the body.
⠀
The lion earrings express dual energy: rubies on the right symbolize fire, action, and the masculine principle; sapphires on the left represent water, intuition, and the feminine principle.
⠀
Strength arises through balance - when these opposing forces exist in harmony, power becomes quiet, grounded, and whole.

Für den Archetyp der Stärke arbeitete ich mit einem Korsett von Hélène Litorelle, bedruckt mit der Bildsprache antiken Schmucks, sowie mit löwenförmigen Ohrringen als Symbole innerer Souveränität.
⠀
Das Korsett verkörpert innere Struktur - nicht als Einschränkung, sondern als bewusste Form und Ausrichtung im Körper.
⠀
Die Löwenohrringe bringen die Dualität der Energie zum Ausdruck: Rubine auf der rechten Seite symbolisieren Feuer, Handlung und das männliche Prinzip; Saphire auf der linken Seite stehen für Wasser, Intuition und das weibliche Prinzip.

Stärke entsteht durch Balance - wenn diese gegensätzlichen Kräfte in Harmonie zusammenwirken, wird Kraft ruhig, geerdet und ganz.

The Empress is the incarnation of life-giving energy, and for this image I created my own artifact - a cloak-tent. Draped over a voluminous dress, it becomes a symbol of protection, shelter, and safety. Its surface is covered with a painting in the Tinga Tinga style - vibrant, rhythmic, and full of the pulse of life. It depicts ten animal species currently under threat of extinction, reminding us of the fragile balance between humanity and nature. In this way, the cloak becomes a living shell of care - a space of protection, memory, and love for the world that the Empress carries within her.

Die Kaiserin ist die Verkörperung lebensspendender Energie, und für dieses Bild habe ich mein eigenes Artefakt geschaffen – ein Umhang-Zelt. Über ein voluminöses Kleid drapiert, wird es zu einem Symbol für Schutz, Geborgenheit und Sicherheit. Seine Oberfläche ist mit einem Gemälde im Tinga-Tinga-Stil bedeckt – lebendig, rhythmisch und erfüllt vom Puls des Lebens. Es zeigt zehn Tierarten, die derzeit vom Aussterben bedroht sind, und erinnert an das fragile Gleichgewicht zwischen Mensch und Natur. Auf diese Weise wird der Umhang zu einer lebendigen Hülle der Fürsorge – zu einem Raum des Schutzes, der Erinnerung und der Liebe zur Welt, die die Kaiserin in sich trägt.

Created in collaboration with renowned astrologer Angela Pearl, this piece brings together cosmic symbolism and personal meaning, helping a woman attune to her own rhythm within the universe and move forward with quiet inner confidence.

Der Archetyp des Sterns steht für das Licht, das uns durch die Dunkelheit führt. Ich habe ihre Energie in einem Seidenschal mit den Zeichen des Tierkreises verkörpert. Entstanden in Zusammenarbeit mit der renommierten Astrologin Angela Pearl, verbindet dieses Stück kosmische Symbolik mit persönlicher Bedeutung und hilft einer Frau, sich auf ihren eigenen Rhythmus im Universum einzustimmen und mit stiller innerer Zuversicht voranzugehen.

For me, art is not decoration or concept, it is a form of inner listening. I work with archetypes as living forces that seek embodiment in form, fabric, and image.

The High Priestess, the Empress, Strength, and the Star are not characters, but inner states of feminine integrity. Together, they form a journey from intuition to embodiment, from vulnerability to quiet inner light.

Für mich ist Kunst weder Dekoration noch Konzept, sie ist eine Form des inneren Zuhörens. Ich arbeite mit Archetypen als lebendigen Kräften, die nach Verkörperung in Form, Stoff und Bild suchen.

Die Hohepriesterin, die Kaiserin, die Stärke und der Stern sind keine Figuren, sondern innere Zustände weiblicher Ganzheit. Gemeinsam bilden sie einen Weg von Intuition zur Verkörperung, von Verletzlichkeit zu stillem innerem Licht.

When the ball season begins in Vienna, the night becomes a stage for elegance, tradition, and contemporary glamour.
Ball culture - from iconic balls to a living dance tradition - remains an integral part of a heritage that continues to inspire across time.

Within this cultural context, the brand Hélène Litorelle presented a ball gown featured in LOOK! Magazine - Ball Issue 2025/2026, an edition dedicated to ball fashion and the aesthetics of Vienna’s balls.

The project was realized within the framework of MODE WIEN, reflecting the contemporary Viennese fashion scene, where tradition continues to live on in a modern form.

Wenn in Wien die Ballsaison beginnt, wird die Nacht zur Bühne für Eleganz, Tradition und zeitgenössischen Glamour.
Die Ballkultur - von ikonischen Bällen bis hin zu einer lebendigen Tanztradition - bleibt Teil eines kulturellen Erbes, das über die Zeit hinweg inspiriert.

In diesem kulturellen Kontext präsentierte die Marke Hélène Litorelle ein Ballkleid, das in der LOOK! Magazine - Ballausgabe 2025/2026 vorgestellt wurde, einer Ausgabe, die der Ballmode und der Ästhetik der Wiener Bälle gewidmet ist.

Das Projekt wurde im Rahmen von MODE WIEN realisiert - als Spiegel der zeitgenössischen Wiener Modeszene, in der Tradition in einer aktuellen Form weiterlebt.
