Many gatherings and a little too much indulging — feeling slightly under the weather 🤧
Sis still came over for our Christmas gathering, even with me dozing off in between 😂😴

In the midst of food, laughter, and quiet moments, we took time to reflect on 2025 and set our resolutions for the new year. These simple reflections felt grounding and meaningful.

Watching the boys grow up so well together, enjoying each other’s company, truly warms my heart. Ended the day with a cozy chit-chat session, slow conversations, and lots of love.

A prayer of gratitude:

Thank You, God, for abundance unending,
For health that carries us through each day,
For happiness found in simple moments,
For wealth in love, laughter, and grace.

Bless our family and loved ones with light,
With success born of kindness and truth.

🛍️ Shopping Highlights from This Trip ✈️

Bought way too many things from Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Seattle — and the hubs and boys kindly helped bring half my luggage home before I continued on to Japan to buy even more goodies 😂

Big win: managed to help Mum grab her Coach bag in under 10 minutes — mission accomplished ✔️

I absolutely loved:
✨ The variety of Kate Spade jewellery
✨ Disneyland shopping (dangerous but irresistible 😍)
✨ Japanese food shopping — always my favourite
✨ Netflix Store in Los Angeles — so much fun!
✨ Hard Rock — for the music lover vibes 🎸

And the boys?
They were very happy with Marshalls — so many good finds!

To top it all off, I was so touched to receive flowers and a present from my darling big au — he is such a sensible and lovely boy ❤️
Small au also surprised me with a snow globe, knowing how much I love them ❄️

Finally home, hearts full.
After a long day unpacking our little treasures, there’s quiet joy in simply being surrounded by what we brought back — and who we came home to. Baby slept peacefully through most of the day, gifting us a calm and gentle Christmas.

Jet lag, however, stayed wide awake with me. After many sleepless hours, the photos tell the truth — I look like I’m constantly on the verge of falling asleep 😅 My helper kept gently waking me just to take a picture, which made us laugh even more.

Reuniting with my sisters made this season complete. We celebrated with a simple yet meaningful spread — a cheese platter of savory curry cheese from Japan, Brie from the States, and garlic noir cheese from Beecher’s Seattle, alongside comforting dishes lovingly shared. Though hubby’s flight was delayed and deeply missed, love still filled the table.

We also marked my sister’s birthday with a soft pink log cake — sweet moments layered with laughter, gratitude, and grace.

This Christmas reminded me that blessings live in presence, not perfection.

A little poem to end the night:

Gratitude glows in candlelight,
In sleepy smiles and hearts held tight.
Home is love, both near and far,
This season’s gift — just as we are.

Handicraft Cel ✨💍 A Little Story Behind the Sparkle

It all started when I was pregnant with Baby Au—nesting came in the form of beads, charms, and quiet moments of creativity. Making jewellery became a joyful escape, something fun, personal, and surprisingly grounding.

My first proud moment? Fixing my own rosary. A small but meaningful repair that sparked something bigger in me.

Since then, I’ve created a birthday gift for my husband (made with so much love 💝) and even crafted a playful fob using a Tokidoki charm—because why not mix faith, fun, and flair?

Every piece tells a little story.
Every bead is threaded with intention.
This isn’t just crafting—it’s heart work.

Birthday Eats & Treats 🎂🎉

Spent the day in town with Hubs, indulging in all the birthday goodies! Started with lunch at Marché—pork shoulder set and birthday cake, not bad and pretty yummy! 😋 Then did a little birthday shopping—used my Cotton On voucher for some new clothes and got cute stationery + a lunch bag for Baby Au at Smiggle. ✨

Tim Hortons had free birthday donuts (yes, please!), and the apple crumble donut was chef’s kiss 🤌. Also tried the birthday Coconut Queen—so good! Ended the sweet spree with Swensen’s birthday ice cream. Safe to say, it was a day full of treats and love! ❤️🎈

We had the free birthday breads and coffee from toastbox and bread talk too! So filled !

Birthday Surprises & Garden Dreams ✨🌿

Woke up to the sweetest surprise—Hubs got me my second Labubu, Wings of Fortune! He went all the way out of the city in Auckland to find it, and it was down to the last five pieces. Talk about a treasure hunt! 🥹💖

Spent the day exploring a beautiful nursery in Woodlands, where the gardener has climatized eucalyptus, lavender, strawberries, and raspberries. Perfect timing since we’re redoing our outdoor space—dreaming of a fragrant, edible, and rose-filled garden! 🌸🍓🌿

Big love to my friends for the gorgeous bouquet and sparkling pretty clips! Feeling so loved today. 🥰❤️

**“Wrapped up my birthday with an amazing dinner at Food Capital, Grand Copthorne Waterfront! 🍣🦀🥩 From fresh sashimi, oysters, and snow crab legs to the boys’ favorites—roast beef and tempura—everything was top-notch. The service was just as great!

The boys surprised me with similar presents (lots of Hello Kitty blind boxes!) and heartfelt cards. It means so much that they tried their best to express their gratitude.

A big thank you to my sister-in-law for treating me to an amazing meal! Tanuki Raw gives you 40 free slices of sashimi on your birthday with every bottle of wine or sake—such a great deal! We also enjoyed fresh oysters and a delicious lobster salmon mini roll. The bowls were absolutely delicious—Big Au loved the foie gras, while Small and Baby Au couldn’t get enough of the yuzu noodles! Such a pleasant and memorable date!
