There is something really special about creating wedding bands. A simple circle that somehow holds a whole world of meaning.

Wedding rings have been part of love stories for thousands of years. In ancient Egypt, the circle symbolised eternity with no beginning and no end, and even the open space inside the ring was seen as a doorway into the future a couple would build together. I have always loved that idea ❤️

For this pair, I wanted the design to honour that sense of timelessness. Nothing loud or overly styled, just shapes that feel enduring and deeply considered. The soft curve of the rounded tops brings a touch of warmth, while the straighter sides give the rings a clean and modern profile. The weight of the platinum was intentional too, something steady and reassuring, like the presence of someone who walks beside you through every season.

Wedding rings may look simple, but they carry memories, vows, hope and the promise of a shared life. Creating pieces like these is one of the most meaningful parts of my work, shaping something that will last a lifetime.

This engagement ring was created for a couple I’ve known for many years, which already made the journey special. But the way it all unfolded made it even sweeter. It was a complete surprise for her, and K was incredibly specific about the stone he wanted - the colour, the character, the feeling it should evoke.

What followed was a search across cutters from different parts of the world, looking for that perfect shade of blue. And in the end, the stone that was selected was one from my own vault - a gorgeous, cornflower‑like blue that feels alive in every light. The photos don't quite do it justice. In person, it’s absolutely breathtaking.

Seeing them take this next step, after growing together for so long, fills me with so much joy. I’m truly honoured to have played a small part in their story, crafting a piece that will stay with them for a lifetime.

I’ve always been sentimental about jewelry that carries a story. M’s jade came from her mother’s traditional necklace, and together we reimagined it into a pendant that feels fresh yet still deeply rooted in memory.

Pieces like this remind me why I love what I do, because jewellery isn’t just about design, it’s about history, connection, and the joy of creating something that can be passed down through generations.

Every redesign is a way of honoring the past while giving it new life for the future.

Update: I’m officially a GIA Graduate Gemologist!

I passed the exam last year (still pinching myself!) and crossed a milestone that’s been a few years in the making.

Between being a working mom, dog mom, running a business, creating, actively serving in a charity that I’m very proud of, and studying the science and soul of gemstones, there were many late nights, early mornings, and a whole lot of prayer and perseverence. This journey stretched me in every direction but yet deepened my love for the craft, the science, the sparkle, the storytelling behind every stone.

I might have been a little quiet here, but behind the scenes, I’ve been working on customisation orders, sketching new designs, and dreaming up projects that blend elegance, storytelling, and sparkle. Now I’m back in the swing of things: crazy, creative, and loving every moment!

A little while ago, someone asked me if I make cuffs for men, which took me back to a special season in my journey as a bench jeweller. During that time, I spent countless hours sawing, texturing, hammering, and finishing raw materials to create unique pieces.

Although this customised cuff followed a slightly different process, working with metals has always been one of my favourite aspects of jewellery making. There's something incredibly satisfying about shaping raw material into something refined and wearable, right in front of my eyes.
