Lifelong Learning Festival
The Lifelong Learning Festival is a signature event organised by the Lifelong Learning Council, whose vision is to inspire a society that embraces lifelong learning as a way of life. The festival aims to raise greater awareness on lifelong learning and help all develop a habit of continual learning. It galvanises community partnerships to form a network of lifelong learn

ing partners, cultivating new specific lifelong learning initiatives. This year, the festival has expanded from 2 weeks to a month across 4 public venues over the weekends. There will also be free fringe activities across the island during the festival month. The festival is supported by SkilllsFuture Singapore and a network of community partners. The Lifelong Learning Council (LLC) is a community-led council that was appointed by the Minister for Education (Higher Education and Skills), and supported by SkillsFuture Singapore. Made up of leaders from both the private and public sectors, the council aims to inspire and drive community-led initiatives in promoting lifelong learning. The council also fosters partnerships by integrating efforts across communities, employers, unions, education and training providers, trade associations and the Government, to make learning more pervasive in Singapore.
