Hi Besties, it has been an extremely busy few months, entering 2026. Navigating changes can upend all the plans and resolutions that were made at the start of the year. Part of a mother’s journey, often entails having to make sacrifices. Sick kids, travelling husbands, sickly parents and even our own personal challenges. As I reflect on this Mother’s Day, I am overwhelmed by the love and support of my own mother (yes the one with the cheeky smile!) through all of life’s challenges. Just as I watched hear bear through her own challenges in life, I hope I can embody even an ounce of that quiet resilience in myself. Today I honour all our mothers, aunts, grandmothers, sisters and all my Fefa besties. Here’s to all the woman we call Mama, including ourselves. Happy Mother’s Day!
