It's the 1920's in New York City and the prohibition era was in full swing. After the war, many soldiers didn't return and those positions had to be filled in. Plus, women didn't to give back their recently acquired freedom. So what did they do? They cut their hair, tossed away their corsets, and even went dancing alone in public for the first time. And perhaps most shockingly, they bought their own jewellery."
