Super99, the leading grocery chain in Panama with a strong national footprint and numerous branches, recently invested in several balers of the model Orwak Power 3820 for their stores. Super99 was convinced they wanted Orwak balers! Marco Villani, Orwak’s representative in Central America, naturally appreciated their dedication to the brand but was curious to find out the story behind it. ORWAK POWER BALER MASTERS THE RECYCLABLES FROM THE MUNICIPALITY OF PALMARES
Another success story shared by Marco Villani, the Orwak representative in Costa Rica! This one is about how the high capacity Orwak baler Power 3820 masters all the recyclables collected in a municipality and turns the cardboard into compact bales ready for recycling.

The Costa Rican municipality Palmares located in the Central Valley has about 39 000 residents, whereof 3600-4000 in the urban center. In line with its environmental commitment, the municipality wants to promote waste separation and contribute to a sustainable recycling solution by investing in the efficient cardboard baler Power 3820.

In just 3 business days, the Municipality of Palmares has collected and compacted 8 bales of cardboard, each weighing an average of 460 kg, for a total of 3 680 kg of recycled material. The officials are happy with the quality and density of the bales and pleasantly surprised by the results.

MORE PRODUCTIVE USE OF TIME WITH A CLASSIC ORWAK BALER
A lot of time is wasted on manual labor in companies with inadequate waste solutions. “It has always been handled this way”, one can think that investing in waste equipment is a complex and expensive business, “I had no idea it turned out to be so many hours per months” are some reasons and explanations for that, but when looking into it, it is surprising how much time and money a baler can save!
